Our meetings are at the usual time of 1.30pm – 3.15pm on a Wednesday in the large hall of Trinity Church, Lethame Road. and in addition to entertainment tea, coffee and home baking and a bit of social interaction are always available.

The club aims to provide support and social interaction for anyone living with memory issues caused by dementia. Most people come with a relative, carer or friend. We meet in a relaxed atmosphere with activities, musical entertainment and tea, coffee and biscuits enjoyed in a café style atmosphere. There is wheelchair access via the car park in Crawford Street.

Our September meeting dates are:

Wednesday 11 September when we will be  having a quiz and activity afternoon.

      and

Wednesday 25 September where we welcome back a group of harpists to entertain us.

Why not come along and join us? all are most welcome.

The Memory Club has also agreed to be a Help Point for the Playlist for Life Charity which aims to help individuals with dementia make up their own personal playlist of favourite songs which can promote feelings of well-being and aid conversations with family and friends as musical memories remain when other conversation can be difficult. The Help Point is available when the Memory Club meets so drop in if you need some advice about how to get started making a list for a loved one.
