At the annual business meeting at the end of March  it was agreed that the committee for 2025/2026 will be – President – Elizabeth McGowan; Treasurer – Morag McKay; Secretary – Ishbel Anderson; committee members – Alice White, Helen McNeil, Nancy Fleming, Marjorie Lamb, Lalita Mishra.

From September 2025 all meetings will be held in the large hall in Strathaven and all will start at 2.00 pm.  All are held on a Tuesday unless indicated otherwise.

On 11 November we look forward to welcoming Roland Russell who will take us back in time with Nostalgia.  The next meeting will then be held on 9 December when the theme will be Babushka.  We are holding a concert on Friday 21 November at 7.00 pm in the church and look forward to hearing the music of Colin Thomas Bryce, the tartan tenor.  Tickets costing £10 are on sale from the church office and Craig’s in the Common Green.  Christmas lunch will be on Tuesday 16 December.  Meetings restart on 13 January when the speaker will be from Police Scotland.
