At the annual business meeting at the end of March  it was agreed that the committee for 2025/2026 will be – President – Elizabeth McGowan; Treasurer – Morag McKay; Secretary – Ishbel Anderson; committee members – Alice White, Helen McNeil, Nancy Fleming, Marjorie Lamb, Lalita Mishra.

From September 2025 all meetings will be held in the large hall in Strathaven and all will start at 2.00 pm.  All are held on a Tuesday unless indicated otherwise.

On 24 February our meeting is entitled ‘ Murder at the Ravenswick Hotel’ which has been supplied by Strathaven Library.  This is a ‘whodunit’ and should be fun!  On 10 March we look forward to hearing from a speaker from one of the Guild projects ‘Operation Hope Egypt’.    We finish meetings this session on 24 March with the business meeting but we will also have some musical bingo that afternoon!   An outing to Peebles has been arranged for Tuesday 12 May when an accessible coach will leave Station Road, Strathaven at 10.30 am and then leave Peebles at 4.00 pm.  The cost is £10 and is non refundable – open to members and non-members.  Names with money to Morag McKay.
