STRATHAVEN MEMORY CLUB
The November meetings of the
club are on Wednesday 12 November from 1.30 – 3.15 pm when the Rock Choir will come to entertain us for the first time. On Wednesday 26 November from 1.30 – 3.15 pm when we have a St Andrew’s Day theme and the ceilidh band Loudoun Friends are entertaining us.
As usual we welcome new members so if you are having memory issues and would like to enjoy some social interaction with others who are experiencing similar issues why not come along? Carers and loved ones also enjoy the opportunity of support and relaxing in a friendly atmosphere.
HEART FOR ART GROUP
The November meetings are on Wednesday 5 and 19 November from 1.00 till 3.00 pm. The Heart for Art group can only take a maximum of 12 members all of whom have some memory issues. At the moment we are full but we do hold a small waiting list if anyone wishes to have their name on the list.

MORE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Both groups could benefit from a few extra volunteers especially people willing to collect a member who is unable to come or be brought by a carer. Even if you are only able to come to one of the groups and only regularly to one meeting it would still be a help. Please contact Lynda Horn for more information.
